- Design for Learning: Principles, Processes, and PraxisOur goal is that students in introductory instructional design courses will be able to use this book as a guide for completing a basic instructional design project. We also hope the book is useful as a ready resource for more advanced students or others seeking to develop their instructional design knowledge and skills.
- Child Growth and DevelopmentThis text is a presentation of how and why children grow, develop, and learn. We will look at how we change physically over time from conception through adolescence. We examine cognitive change, or how our ability to think and remember changes over the first 20 years or so of life. - Mathematics for Elementary TeachersThis is book is fairly comprehensive and I feel could be used by most foundational courses in elementary mathematics. The structure and writing provide a good foundation for students learning the "why" behind the mathematics and becoming mathematical thinkers.
- Teaching Early and Elementary STEMThis Open Access Educational textbook, "Teaching Early and Elementary STEM", was written to support pre-service early childhood and elementary teachers in their journey to become facilitators of science, technology, engineering, and math, or “STEM,” and "integrated STEM" in their future classrooms.
- Science for Developing Scientifically Literate CitizensWe created this book to help you as both a college student and a future teacher. - The Art and Science of Teaching Agriculture: Four Keys to Dynamic LearningThe authors offer both secondary and postsecondary educators in both formal and nonformal educational environments the opportunity to build confidence in planning, delivering, and assessing the depths of the variables inherent in learning.
- Game Based and Adaptive Learning StrategiesThis material can be used to teach pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and instructional designers about game-based and adaptive learning. Assessments used in the actual Game-based and Adaptive Learning course are included in the final chapter and serve as recommendations for assessments of the learning outcomes.

Traditional curriculum materials are copyrighted and have restricted use. OER are teaching and learning materials that are freely available online for everyone to use. OER authors retain few ownership rights and materials are revisable and can be redistributed at no cost.
