In Response to COVID-19: Special Collections Services

This guide provides information on services during the fall semester of 2020.
In the interest of public health, the Special Collections and Archives (SCA) reading room is open by appointment only. Only faculty and staff working on campus and students currently enrolled in on-campus learning are allowed to enter Hutchins Library at present.
Masks are required in Hutchins Library and throughout campus. If you are not feeling well on the day of your visit, have a temperature greater than 100.4, or have been exposed to COVID-19 during the past week, please re-schedule your research visit.
The capacity of the reading room is limited to four researchers plus attending staff members. To make a reading room appointment, please use this linked form: Current reading room appointment hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SCA staff may be contacted via phone or email (contact us). Remote consultations are standard practice at present.

Please note: Quantities and size of scans may be limited to accommodate all researchers. Response times will vary due to staffing availability and number of requests.
