Individual Study Rooms

Individual Study Room Guidelines

  • Hutchins Library has six individual Study rooms. The rooms are available to be reserved in two-hour blocks.
  • Individual study rooms are to be used by only one person. Violation of this guideline may result in the loss of study room privileges.
  • Facial coverings do not have to be worn while inside the INDIVIDUAL study rooms.
  • Doors must be closed while in use.
  • DO NOT block the view of the study room by moving an object in front of the door's glass panel.
  • Reservations may be made by emailing circdesk@berea.edu or by calling the circulation desk at 859-985-3364.
  • If the study room key is not picked up within fifteen minutes of the reservation, the reservation will be canceled.

Group Study Rooms

Guidelines for Group Study Rooms:

  • Hutchins Library's group study rooms are available to be reserved in two-hour blocks.
  • Facial coverings are optional if all participants in the study group agree. If a member or members of the study group request masking, that should be respected.
  • DO NOT block the view of the study room by moving an object in front of the door's glass panel.
  • Reservations may be made by emailing circdesk@berea.edu or by calling the circulation desk at 859-985-3364.
  • If the study room key is not picked up within fifteen minutes of the reservation, the reservation will be canceled.
