- Digitization: Student scans print zines and uploads them into digital storage behind-the-scenes
- Quality control: After scanning, student performs quality control checks
- re-scanning zines that did not digitize well or re-sizing/compressing those that are too large
- Ensuring access and discoverability: Student creates zine profile in the online zine collection
- assigning each zine at least one subject
