Job Description
The student research consultant:
- Maintains a schedule of available time-slots in which to meet with student clients on LibCal
- Research on behalf of student clients prior to their arrival
- Meets with students one-on-one to find and evaluate sources or brainstorm research topics
- Empower student customers for the next stops in the research process by providing them with articles or books to support their research or provide a sense of focus in their research
- Follow-up written communication with student clients after the appointment by providing a transcript detailing the results of the meeting
- LibCalWhere student patrons sign up for one-on-ones
