Berea's Rhythm and Roots

The Celebration of Traditional Music was initiated in 1974 by Appalachian Center Director, Loyal Jones. It remains an educational, as well as entertaining, means of reminding students and the wider campus community of the southern Appalachian region's rich and diverse heritage of home-made music that is passed on person-to-person.
