General information about Hutchins Library

Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL)

Berea’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), brings faculty, staff, and students together with each other and with trained faculty, staff, and student leaders to deepen their confidence, skills, perspectives, and insights as readers, writers, learners, and teachers.

Three threads intertwine at the heart of the Center: 1) continued teaching-related professional development for faculty and staff professionals, 2) support for undergraduate TAs and tutors as they begin to professionalize, and 3) writing support for all students, staff, and faculty members at the College.

Visit us in our new location at Hutchins Library. Faculty Development is located on the main level near the circulation desk (Library 206). Writing Resources, TA/LA Programs and Student-Faculty Partnership Programs are located on the Lower Floor.
