Training + Support

We are one of a few partner schools of Vanderbilt's Center for Digital Humanities. Vanderbilt hosts events, leads seminars and workshops, holds working groups, and more all related to digital humanities. 

  • Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI)
    An ideal environment for discussing, learning, and building skills in the digital humanities. Join us for intensive seminars, colloquium presentations, affiliated events, and much more.
  • Humanities Intensive Learning & Teaching (HILT)
    A 5-day training institute that includes keynotes, ignite talks, and local cultural heritage excursions for researchers, students, early career scholars and cultural heritage professionals who seek to learn more about Digital Humanities theory, practice, and culture.
  • Programming Historian
    We publish novice-friendly, peer-reviewed tutorials that help humanists learn a wide range of digital tools, techniques, and workflows to facilitate research and teaching. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of editors, writers, and readers.
