Tips

  1. Consider searching with the name of your protest on one line (ex. "March for Life") and then these synonyms "aim or goal or purpose" on the next line

  2. Search Google but limit your results to "news"

  3. Find the official page of the group leading the march you are investigating (ex, the Official Black Lives Matter page)... search using the word "official" in front of your group's name

  4. Put entire phrases in quotes to make sure those specific words appear together (ex. "Womens March")

  5. In Access World News, try limiting your results to the state that your march occurred in by using the map feature
