Working in Circulation Services
- General DutiesBasic circulation work, which includes computerized check in and check out of all circulating materials, registration of new patrons, reserve operations, displaying appropriate public demeanor and appearance, and acquiring basic knowledge of the online catalog. Additional duties include regular departmental housekeeping tasks, such as shelving books, dusting, etc.
- Work ScheduleCirculation Services is staffed every hour Hutchins Library is open. Students generally work one evening shift per week and rotating weekend shifts.
